Typing that graduating year makes me feel really old! Where has the time gone?
My husband and I live and work in Loma Linda where we have been for the past 20 years. I have 2 children: my son is 13 and my daughter is 11. They both attend Redlands Adventist Academy (which I still refer to as RJA even though it now goes through 12th grade). I look back on my academy days with lots of good memories and lots of good friends.
Some of you may remember my parents who were long time faculty members at SPA, John and Thea Schleifer. They lived on campus from 1974 - 1994. They are retired, in excellent health, and live in San Jacinto. |

| Hello Sally - you will probubly remember my older brother Bob Curtice who graduated in your class. I was there for only my freshman year in 1977. I just found my old "Alape'" and it brought back al lot of good memories. I did a web search and found this alumni website. Who knows if you will ever read this but it is good to connect with the past even in this small way. I graduated in 1980 at Rio Lindo Academy but SPA has always been a special memory for me. |

| How are you Sally? Ed Williamson from the class of '79. I am glad to hear of your family, and to hear that your parents are in good health. My mom, Raylene Williamson who worked at the Bindery retired in 2002. The Golden Rule Bindery is still in operation, owned and operated by Jerry Kiley and a partner. My folks still live in Ramona, when they are not traveling the country in their motorhome, LOL. They are in excellent health as well. I live in Tustin with my wife Debbie. I teach 5th Grade at a private school in the Tustin area. |

Sally, we're not old or getting old, we're only getting BETTER with time. Glad that your parents are doing well, How are You?
Al, I remember you, I hear that you make the best grape juice. How are you?
Ed, if I remember correctly, you and I worked in the cafeteria together. How are you doing? I teach elementary too. You can have fifth grade, I prefer 3rd or 4th.
Sincerely, Laurie Freese |

Hi Laurie,
How've you been? I remember the cafeteria days. Those were some good times. I live in the OC area, Tustin to be exact and teach here. |

I'm not too happy with Tustin right now, but that's not your fault. There are some lawyers out there who are having fun harrassing me.
So you teach and play the organ. Weren't you in the band? Didn't you play the trombone?
Are you married? Do you have kids? Are you happy?
I don't know if you remember me as Laurie, I go by Beth now. Feel free to write, my e-mail is bethlovestocook@yahoo.com
Take care of yourself,
Sincerely,
Beth :) |
